Lately, I’ve been having Nestle Yogurt for breakfast. So far, I had the peach and berry mix flavors. Can’t believe how good it tastes! There’s really a vast improvement from their former yogurt products and best of all, it has loads of calcium! Yum!

Praise God for he never forsakes! He is always there for his children. In spite of the situation, I believe Ganns and I will be able to hang on because we are leaning on God. The Lord has shown us his mercy and grace through countless people who visited the hospital, prayed and given their assistance. May the Lord continue to bless them as they have blessed others.

I am saddened by what is happening to Ganns’ mother. I see Ganns sporadically and he’s very tired. He hasn’t gotten any decent sleep for the past week and it doesn’t seem like he will be anytime soon. Brothers and sisters, please include Ganns and his mother in your prayer lists. I know that God has a plan for everyone and we can rely on him to always be with us, in times of joy and in times of pain.

Start with Faith, End with Faith
I am back from the church camp and I am refreshed. It is so inspiring to see literally thousands of Christians from around the world praising and worshipping God. I felt that I had a taste of the promise in Revelation 7:9-10:
After this I looked and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and in front of the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands. And they cried out in a loud voice:
“Salvation belongs to our God,
who sits on the throne,
and to the Lamb.”
We were not wearing white robes and holding palm branches but we were all praising and worshipping the Lord together albeit in different languages.
I am so blessed by the encouragement I received from young believers who just can’t stop talking about God’s mighty love. Together, we learned about faith and how important exercising our faith is in order to increase it. As it is written in Matthew 17:20: He replied, “Because you have so little faith. I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”
Before I went to the camp, I was feeling very discouraged about bringing people to Christ. It seems like everyone I try to invite or witness to do not respond. I felt so defeated. After the camp, I understand that the main reason why I am not successful is because I relied on my own strength. I didn’t pray enough. I didn’t ask for God’s help most of the time. I forgot that I could not do it on my own. I have many limitations. It is the Holy Spirit who convicts, not my abilities and charm.
I thank God for his wisdom. He used the participants of the camp to make me realize that we are not alone. There are countless Christians around the world who have the same desire to share God’s love. Hearing many of our brothers and sisters encourage each other to keep running the race for our faith truly emboldened me to keep on running and to never give up.
Praise God!

Thailand, here I come!
I am one of the church delegates to the International Church Camp of the Hope of God Church. I will be leaving on May 7 to attend a series of teachings and to have warm fellowship with Hope members from all over the world. I’m sure the Lord will bless our camp. I wish you can all be with me. I’ll tell you all about it when I come back.

“Just Improved!”
I saw this message on a pack of Squid Rings, a brand of snack food that I love. Naturally, I got a pack for myself. I was going to eat it during my movie night. To my absolute chagrin, the chips deteriorated in taste–another reminder that what we should not trust what we see in the packaging. In light of this, I’d like to share a passage from the Bible very much related to my chips experience.
1 Samuel 16:7
But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The Lord does not look at the things man looks at. Man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.” (emphasis mine)
Indeed, the Lord does not look at our packaging or how we project ourselves to others. He looks at our hearts.
