I am a nervous wreck.

I will be presenting a paper tomorrow at the Philippine Association for Counselor Education Research & Supervision (PACERS) 2002 Annual Convention and things are not going as planned. I had prepared a PowerPoint Presentation but it appears that they do not have a multimedia projector. Now, I’m stuck with transparencies which are quite blurry (Thanks to National Bookstore Shangrila Plaza’s ugly photocopier).

Please help pray for me to have the confidence tomorrow. Right now, I’m not feeling that confident.

Friends, beware of the abovementioned taxi. The driver will pull the “contract” bid on you after you have comfortably settled in his taxi for at least 5 minutes. Last night, I was charged PHP150 for a ride that normally costs less than PHP100. I had no choice. I was alone in the cab and it was late. Good thing I came from church, I prayed to the Lord to bless the money I will be paying the driver so that the evil of dishonesty will not win.

It is so terrible how these cab drivers are so dishonest in the conduct of their work. When I was in Cebu, the taxi drivers ALWAYS use the meter.

Pardon this triviality

I watched Ocean’s Eleven last night and I just want to say that George Clooney and Brad Pitt are just awfully hot! (Didn’t think you’ll see the day when Caths says “awfully hot” in a sentence, eh?) I know that the movie advocates stealing, which is clearly a sin. Nonetheless, those two actors were simply gorgeous! It has been a long time since I felt “kilig” while watching a movie. This one gave me that feeling again. =)
